Ashlyn is a Senior Psychology major and Business minor at CU Boulder. Her research interests center on compassion and health/wellness. Ashlyn’s background in the medical field as a nurse aide and NICU volunteer developed her perspective that both the psychology and business fields are crucial in addressing issues related to organization, employee, and customer health/wellness.  Her current projects with the DI&ID lab include a literature review and a meta-analysis.

Sarah is majoring in Business with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and management. She has always had an interest in how individuals act and behave in the workplace based on their gender. She is a Norlin Scholar at CU Boulder and hopes that this research can contribute to her scholar’s path and enrich her academic experience as an undergraduate.

Shawn (Xiaoshi) Quan holds a master’s degree in international marketing from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. Having lived and worked in China, South Korea, Thailand and the U.S., she is interested in minority workers’ identity and experience at work. Her research interest include diversity, inclusive workplace, and cross-cultural management.
